Hike in Griffith Park

One saturday morning Seema, Sameera, I and decided to go on a hike to Griffith park and two other friends joined along. We drove to the Griffith park and decided on the arbitrary goal of getting as close to hollywood sign as possible from here. From the point onwards we simply kept walking along trails to get a closer and closer view of the Hollywood sign.

Griffith park observatory was under construction these days and they were rennovating it. So it was closed during these days. The view of Los angeles downtown from the hike was amazing. While I had been to griffith park several times when it was open but I had never see Griffith observatory from a distance like this.

We kept climbing higher and higher wherever we could manage and finally reached a point that was sort of the highest in the surrounding area.

The hollywood sign was quite close and large from here.

It was very hot by now and by this time we were quite tired. We took the normal roads to climb down to our car.

We had quite some fun in the hike and I have never had a view of the Hollywood sign than this.
