My friends and I started an Ugadhi group at USC. There was sizable number of telugus and we decided to meet together and celebrate telugu festivals like Ugadhi, Sankranthi etc and watch telugu movies toigether.
Once each month or so we would all assemble with andhra food cooked at e
ach of our places and pool it in. These Potluks were pure fun. After dinner we would play games such as sumb charades until midnight.
Each Yugadhi someone would make the Yugadhi pacchadi and there would garelu, pravannam, and a complete vindu bhojanam.
The cooking talent here was amazing. We had quite a few parties this year and each of them was full
of fun.
